This Privacy Policy explains how ReimburseRPM LLC d/b/a SimplyRPM collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use the SimplyRPM remote patient monitoring software platform and related applications (together, the “Service”), and the choices you have. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information responsibly. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Where the Service is offered through a health care provider, that provider may also have its own privacy notices that apply to you, and certain information may be governed by the agreement between us and that provider (see our HIPAA Notice).
2. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide and improve the Service. This includes:
- Account & contact information, such as name, email address, phone number, and login credentials.
- Health & medication information, such as remote patient monitoring readings, device data, and clinical time entries submitted through the Service. This data is generally provided by, or on behalf of, our provider customers.
- Device & connection data, information from paired Bluetooth devices, device identifiers, and technical logs needed to sync and secure the Service.
- Usage & log data, app interactions, features used, timestamps, IP address, browser or device type, and diagnostic data.
- Cookies & similar technologies, as described in our Cookie Policy.
You may choose not to provide certain information, but some features may not function without it.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
- Deliver reminders, alerts, adherence tracking, and related features;
- Sync data with devices and, where you or your provider have authorized it, share it with your care team or caregivers;
- Communicate with you about the Service, including service-related notices and support;
- Monitor, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Service;
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security, or technical issues; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not use the health or medication information you provide to serve third-party advertising, and we do not sell it.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as described below:
- With your care team and caregivers, with people and organizations you (or, where applicable, your provider) have authorized to receive it.
- With service providers, vendors who perform services on our behalf (such as hosting, analytics, and communications) under contracts that require them to protect the information and use it only for those services.
- With our provider customers, we make data available to the provider organization that engaged us, and their authorized users, to deliver the Service.
- For legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SimplyRPM, our users, or others.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to continued protection of your information.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Health Information & HIPAA
Certain information handled through the Service may be protected health information (“PHI”). When SimplyRPM provides the Service to or on behalf of a HIPAA-covered entity, we act as a Business Associate and handle PHI in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”) and our Business Associate Agreement with that entity. 6. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. Where we act as a Business Associate, retention and return or destruction of PHI are governed by the applicable Business Associate Agreement.
8. Your Choices & Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can also manage many settings within the Service, including notifications and who you share data with.

9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate consent. Where the Service is used to support a minor's care, it is intended to be managed by a parent, guardian, or authorized caregiver. 10. Third-Party Services & Links
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party products and services (for example, device manufacturers or app stores). Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review them.
11. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States and intended for use in the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
